Seminar: RP 599:
International Comparative Rural Policy
Oregon State University, Public Policy

The class builds upon the experience and findings of the International Comparative Rural Policy Summer School. We will work with the students to identify texts and papers containing policy analysis frameworks that they would like to see discussed in class. We will then examine different frameworks in a comparative perspective, as they can be applied to policy, and develop frameworks that we will use to look at the creation, implementation and outcomes of policies, how they can be compared internationally, and how they can be conceptualized differently.
